Guns Up has been the rallying cry for Tech for almost 50 years and inspires the look found throughout all the teams The design stays close to the current look, with the GUNS UP stripe adjusted for a straighter finish that ends at the sleeve caps, while helmets and pants remain unchanged. For hockey, the GUNS UP motif is carried over with a straightened stripe on the sleeves and hem, along with a football-style shoulder stripe, and the interlocking TT logo on the chest. In baseball, the striping around the collar and sleeves is slightly adjusted, with black/black and red/black hats featuring the interlocking TT and pinstriped home whites, while pants reflect the uniform stripes. Basketball incorporates incomplete collar and shoulder striping, with "Texas Tech" or "Red Raiders" on the red uniforms, and shorts feature a combination of the GUNS UP and pants stripes for a unified look
