Minnesota Golden Gophers
The Golden Gophers’ new identity takes inspiration from hockey but introduces key updates across all sports. In football, maroon uniforms bring back white accents and utilize hockey-inspired striping, with glossy helmets in both maroon and gold and iconic M logos. The white jerseys echo hockey with similar striping, while gold alternates feature less white but maintain outline details. Hockey keeps its striping pattern from real life, with a slight shoulder stripe update. Gold jerseys see changes with the NW stripes replaced by matching patterns, and "GOPHERS" spelled out in the football font. Baseball introduces v-neck jerseys with the classic script on the chest and matching striping. Pants are stripeless, and socks are maroon. Basketball steps away from the current side panel look to a style inspired by Kevin McHale’s era, with new striping and "Minnesota" across the chest. Gold jerseys feature a circular stacked "Golden Gophers" logo. Goldy's head is included in each sport, with sport- specific placements: on helmets, shoulders, sleeves, collars, and shorts.
