Due to the simplicity of these jerseys, I see no reason to change them drastically. Marshall’s uniforms emphasize simplicity with a unique short-stripe theme. Football keeps its classic look with green facemasks, the “THE HERD” M logo, and vertical sleeve cuff stripes for a distinct touch. Shoulder numbers remain, and black alternates use traditional striping. No black helmet—Marshall just doesn’t look right in one. Hockey adapts the design with standard striping, the M-and-Buffalo logo on home and away jerseys, and shoulder numbers. The black alternate features NW striping on the yoke and the “THE HERD” M logo. Baseball retains its script font, using short vertical stripes on home and away jerseys, standard pant and sock stripes, and a scripted “THE HERD” alternate. Basketball follows suit with truncated stripes, colored waistbands, and the M logo on the shorts, while the alternate sticks with a more traditional striping approach.
